Crawler..Errr Brady's Version

I got the video camera out to get Brady's "crawl" and he was kind enough to show off his sitting up too! He is getting so fast and it seems like every time I look away for a few seconds he is into something. His favorites? Cords of any kind, papers and Butters's food and water dishes. But don't worry, he always gives a huge smile when he gets caught and that makes it ok right? Well, it does make it hard to get too upset.

7 Months

Brady is 7 months old already and getting around better than ever. He has not quite figured out the crawl, but is a master at the army crawl. And on Sunday he sat himself up for the first time! Also to mark this 7th month, he got a new car seat. Not so much by choice, but more by necessity as he has already hit the weight and height limits for the infant seat. He is such a big boy! We are so happy to have him around and he pretty much makes it impossible not to smile. Here he is in his big boy carseat on his way to see his friends at daycare! Now we just have to get another one for my car.

What's on My Feet?

Brady was lucky enough to get some cool shoes from one of Grandma's friends. And we were lucky enough to find this pair of shoes that stay on his chubby little feet! He seemed a little confused at first, but he quickly forgot and returned to all smiles.And here's a random picture of Brady with his best friend (although I don't think it's a mutual feeling). He really loves his Butters. Probably more than his mommy.

Not Where I Left Him

Brady is starting to really get around pretty well now, so when I go in the other room, he is generally far from where I left him. Here are a few examples of what I have found when peeking back in to check on him...

Jibber Jabber

Brady has also become a lot more vocal lately. He just talks and talks. In fact, usually when he wakes up in the morning now he just talks to himself until my alarm finally goes off so I am forced to get out of bed and get him up. And he jabbers a lot in the car too. It's so fun to listen to him! Quentin caught it on camera this weekend while I was at work. Isn't it just the cutest little voice?

On the Move

Brady is getting so good at the army crawl! This video was taken last week, and he is even better now. Last night he even did a real crawl for just a few seconds. Here he is chasing Butter's ball. I have another video to post later too. Stay tuned!
