Happy Easter!

This Easter was much more exciting than last year (when Brady was not yet 2 months old!), but we still didn't quite grasp the concept of things like dying eggs, easter egg hunts, etc. Or the true meaning of Easter, but hopefully both will come eventually! Despite the lack of understanding, we still enjoyed these fun activities! Friday at daycare they had an egg hunt and Brady came home with a goody bag. He is a huge fan of chocolate. Particularly M&M's. Not sure where he gets that...
Friday after work/daycare/school, we drove up to Kansas City to go the the temple open house and got to spend fun time with cousins! It was Kendall's birthday, so Michelle got a babysitter for the kids, which was Brady's first experience with that (besides daycare) and we went out to dinner. It was fun to have adult time and to be able to worry only about feeding myself. And considering how long it took me to decide what I was going to feed myself, I can't imaging adding in the dilemma of what to feed my child. So tha
nks Michelle, for organizing everything and thanks to Kendall for having a birthday.
Saturday we were supposed to have an Easter egg hunt with Nick and Colton and her family, but the weather didn't cooperate. It never actually rained, but it threatened all day. So we played around the house, died eggs with Grandpa Bell's help,
and did a little egg hunt at Michelle's. Saturday evening we went to the temple open house. Sadly, the battery on my camera died before that, so we didn't get pictures. We headed home right after so I could make it to church Sunday.
Sunday morning, Brady walked right past his basket, but once he discovered it, he was pretty excited. He loves his sunglasses (the sticker is now removed), his bubbles, and handing his eggs to us to open for him. The basket also makes a really cool toy. And thanks to Michelle for letting us borrow Garrett's suit, he looked pretty snazzy in his Sunday best. How can you say no to this when he asks for more sugar?

The M&M thing comes from his Aunt Megan, of course! It's still strange to see him standing up and walking...wasn't he just barely a tiny baby?

He looks so grown up sitting on those steps!

He is soooo adorable. I wonder where he got THAT? :) Probably the same person he got the chocolate addiction from.
